[Tianjin, China], 19th September, 2024 - HMN Tech is pleased to announce that PEACE Singapore Segment is ready for service, marking the full commercial connection between Singapore and France. The System is invested and operated by PEACE Cable International Network Co., Limited. The 22,000+ km system connecting Asia, Africa and Europe provides high-quality communications with latency as low as 136 ms from Singapore to France. The high-capacity intercontinental network injects new vitality into the global digital connectivity.
PEACE Cable System
PEACE Cable System connecting France, Egypt, Kenya and Pakistan provides ultra-high reliability communications since the commercial use in December 2022. With professional system design, rich international project management experience and flexible delivery solutions, the 6,400 km PEACE Singapore Segment completed marine installation and acceptance testing in August 2024 and is now fully operational. The high-speed and stable network meets the growing international bandwidth requirements of countries and regions along the route.
PEACE Singapore Segment Marine Installation
HMN Tech provides end-to-end customized solutions, applying industry-leading 39.5nm bandwidth repeaters and ultra-low loss optical fibers, delivering up to 192Tbps of system capacity and maximizing the capability for future upgrades. In addition, the system uses HMN Tech ROADM to achieve wavelength add/drop multiplexing at any ratio without guard band, matching customers' dynamic service demand.
PEACE Cable System is based on Open Cable technology that supports spectrum sharing and free selection of terminal transmission equipment, enabling submarine networks to achieve more open and more flexible access capabilities. Besides, Automated Testing Toolkit of HMN Tech achieves automated testing of key parameters, increasing testing efficiency by 6 times compared to traditional manual methods, greatly shortening testing time and significantly improving the acceptance efficiency of multi-site intercontinental networks.
